My name is Andrew Corkery, a Media Production / Branding professional with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Digital Media and Public Relations from Rider University. Over the course of my life I have been very fortunate, to have it filled with an array of people and experiences that have left an immense lasting impact on me, both personally and professionally. I got my start in Digital Media and Television Production in 2009 at the age of 17 working for LDTV as an Option Two Intern Student. I knew from then on what I wanted to do with my life, and never looked back.
I continued to gain as much experience as possible while working in positions like, Assistant Editor, Production Assistant, Camera Operator and Intern for nationally televised programs based in the New York City and Philadelphia areas; for companies such as Sharp Entertainment, Optomen Productions, CBS 3, and Maylaylam Television.
Recently I completed a work experience program over in London, England, where I was an Editor, Content Developer and Intern for a brand content production company called Coasthouse Productions. While there myself along with my colleagues worked with International powerhouse brands such as Canon, Sony, Toyota, Paul Smith and more, to create engaging and dynamic content for all screen media.
After four months abroad I returned to the United States and still remain a contributing member of the company. Now I continue my work with Coast remotely, as a Brand Content Developer and Researcher. In addition I have been working on a contract basis with other Brand Content Production companies based in the Philadelphia and New York City areas, such as Mustache Agency. I focus on growing clients digital brand presence in a way that stands out,
grabbing the attention of their audiences, ultimately impacting them in a meaningful manner that is undoubtedly sharable with others.
My calling is working together with people in the creative field in a wide variety of ways not just working though, but building and cultivating relationships that generate success for all involved. Everything is related, some how, some way and it is all building toward the future.
This past May I graduated with a BFA in Digital Media as a member of the 2014 class, and am always open to advancing my career opportunities further.
